I've just added the DVD of the Manchester Go North West strikebreaker fleet of many colours and owners among which are Tyrers, Red Rose, Belle View, Connexions, Atlantic and J Shaw of Carnforth who has a lot of coaches. It was well worth carrying on to Salford , a long time since I have taken shots there, no hassle at all and pm light is good for all services out bound from Salford shopping City. Bus enthusiasts gathered in increasing numbers as the day went one, the only ones I saw and not photographed or filmed was an ex Halton job at Cheetham Hill. I didn't want to go to Queens Rd and get involved with the pickets , I would think that passions are running amuck as they always do in industrial disputes. I instead finished up at Salford Shopping City where the buses stops are a bit chaotic due to road works but the light was OK and at least it added some more shots and locations. There were numerous bus providers, John Shaw of Carnforth seemed to be the coaches. Names we are more familiar with were Selwyns and Belle Vue but there was a long list and some were just hard to make out ownership. I'm just starting to edit the film and hope to have a trailer on Youtube this evening and the DVD on the shop. ALAN MCCREERY Dumbarton Does anybody know this chap , I see he has several 'shared' friends on Facebook, did us out of an order sent, it's not the money I think he may have learning difficulties so a care or support worker would perhaps be able to help balance the books. On EBay he has created a series of problems indicated by his dismal review status, I think someone should step in if only to protect him from prosecution. |
