We had the Plumbs chap in to take the order for covering our two seater settee, the did the fout seater a couple of years back. It is on a 16 week delivery with all the supply chain problems this is getting to be the norm. Anyway tonight a look at some of those lorries at Lymm
Another busy day, it was almost cloudy but then cleared so having decided to film at Lymm I moved from my usual spot overlooking the roundabout and was out on the main carriageway which catches all traffic coming off the M6 or towards M56. It did cloud over later but I stuck with this spot. I managed to get through scanning a very difficult reel with masses of glitches, no way it could be left alone so it was hours of work staying near. There were yet more Malta bus and lorry scenes and all sorts of Milk Floats, there will certainly be a main releases of the genre which scanned to HD and with so much added detail will yet again be the go to film of milk floats and lesser coverage of other battery electric vehicles. We had the Plumbs chap in to take the order for covering our two seater settee, the did the fout seater a couple of years back. It is on a 16 week delivery with all the supply chain problems this is getting to be the norm. Anyway tonight a look at some of those lorries at Lymm Great to have contact today with China John in Guangzhou, he and his family are all well and life in Canton is almost back to normal. He has only managed to get one factory to produce the model and variants shown of the trolleybuses, same story even for Chinese, no capacity, too much detail, not enough required etc. My last meeting with John and the Guangzhou bus club was in Hong Kong, now information even from HK and Taiwan is very limited in China. Anyone who has followed our various adventures in China may have read about our meetings and exploration of Guangzhou and even encountering the first privately preserved bus in China. Little 'Penny' has grown a lot, fingers crossed that John and family will one day be able to make their oft postponed trip to Britain. I have now listed the new DVD releases on the PMP shop and all the DVD orders are ready to post tomorrow. We go down to Hampshire for another family wedding on Thursday returning Monday, weather permitting we may get visits to Portsmouth, Reading etc. I'm also hoping on this Mon or Tues to get some local lorry filming done. Meanwhile here are some more shots from last weeks trip, following on from Chelmsford and Grays was a rare trip to Basildon. From a Northern perspective it is reassuring to find Essex near to London has such poverty and run down towns. Harlow, Basildon, Clacton, Southend etc. |
