It was like a normal day, loads of waves, toots, flashing lights and in this clear air the sky hasn't looked that bright for hundreds of years, think of the industrial revolution, coal burning smoke everywhere and latterly all the traffic fumes. Now clean, pure air. Anyway it was a superb day out and although it was only 16 deg it felt much warmer and was a couple of degrees better when I eventually got home and ready for a brew, trouble is no cafes in this lock down. Normal car traffic and lots of foreign wagons, little evidence of crisis except no JCB lorries with the factory shut down. I think the whole country is ready to go back to work after this VE bank holiday weekend. I know there are still hot spots of this flu outbreak or whatever it is but our economy will be wrecked forever if we don't get moving now. It was great sitting out in the garden to early evening.
The DVD orders came in late yesterday, it didn't look very promising but overnight the orders streamed in once again. Well another three lorry films coming from todays work and this features in tonights slide show. I'll get them edited asap, I'm also hoping to get a couple of more bus archive films ready by Monday. When the consignment of masks finally arrives I'll start up our bus coverage again, just want to get maximum protection while working in towns and cities. The whole crisis has really missed our village, lots of good things about it here but all good things come to an end and obviously for many it has been a nightmare.
