The next Bus Spot Ultra is on Peterborough and has already been started with estimated completion midweek, then following that will be the Dudly and West Bromwich, Crewe and Warrington and then Coventry. Meanwhile while I'm busy editing here are the shots this morning at Dudley
The better weather was obviously south and going to Dudley and West Brom was on the margins but by lunch time West Brom was basking in a tropical 21DegC, back in Cheshire it was in the teens and cloudy with an outside chance of much needed rain. We are sticking with the plan to film Coventry tomorrow and then enjoying the one day of sun promised at home on Wednesday. A truck filming day on either Thursday or Friday depending on weather, lots of possibles. After getting the outstanding West Midlands done I called at Crewe not scheduled but I needed something to marry up with Warrington filmed last week, I was there at the right time with up to seven buses then it slumped back. So we are gradually expanding our coverage but I'm not sure where next, perhaps Northampton. There is a lot to do in the North East. For Southern England I'll probably wait until bus services have ramped up, rail is now 70% of normal, wish buses were too.
