I have still got my eye on several winter time archive tasks, The Stagecoach story, a coaching film and some brand new Bus Spots. I'm collecting material all the time for these projects which may not come flying off the production line but are always at the back of my mind waiting for the muse to alight! There aren't any events for us in November but in December we'll be doing both Saturday and Sunday at Boyle St, Manchester transport museum. I must start marking up some of the rallies for 2018, many are already announced. I'll try our new marquee out early in the year, hopefully there will be no more flooding of stock and you'll have cover while you peruse. It's crazy as the events go down and people switch to the internet the prices for stands at events keep going, £10 up at Boyle t for instance. We've dropped many of the shows which are nothing short of extortionate but will still have a go at some of the truck events as I like to film them even if the moths never get an outing from the pockets! So what on earth shall we have tonight, we had Yorkshire yesterday how about some lorries, lets dip into the golden oldies then
Even with the forecasts its hard to get accurate info until you are stood there looking at the sky and wondering what the weather will do, this country if of course next only to Ireland in it's unpredictability. Still at least I'm trying to do my best for you all. The decline in hits and revenue on Youtube have reversed a little but I still can't understand why these big dips and rises happen. I'm having a pint of real ale as I write, a very busy day. I've got another two archive rally DVD features completed but a few covers to maker now. The orders all went out this morning, I've spent several hours on my university ministry course reading and then later amending my first unmarked assignment which has to be extended then resubmitted. I keep bobbing up and down to the editing suite to see how the films are progressing, sometimes I forget and leave them for hours after they have burnt to disc etc, the nature of a mere male multitasking.
