A day for catching up with job but not until we'd had a bit of a lay in bed after a late night with television after we returned from the Clonter Autumn Opera Gala. I've now finished both DVDs and covers and listed and added all the Malta material other than EBay or Amazon. They are now all for sale and at this moment I'm running off the clips for the Nottingham DVD filmed yesterday morning which has also been added to our list, it's been around a month since i last updated that on the shop so both Store and News pages have the updated list. After a busy Friday and Saturday on the net it has been less hectic today but still a couple of sack fulls for Mandy to haul around the post office tomorrow. I've another busy week with a trip up to the North East to interview potential apprentices on Wednesday and won't be home until late although I'm optimistic that weather permitting I'll get some shots in Cumbria as I cross the A66 an area I know that has proven popular on previous truck releases. I'm mindful that their are several UK truck locations I need to pay attention to in the new year as well as buses in the North East and East Anglia plus South West, London and South Wales and these are the areas I intend to concentrate on. I've been having a tidy up of cupboards in the editing suite, lots of rubbish from past hardware and packaging, projects long passed etc. I've labelled up on the database the very last of the mini dv tapes I took back in spring 2004, since then other than archives everything has been on HD. Thankfully I've still a couple of spare draws I can use, this brings the tape derived archives up to 2000 separate tapes on the data bank. We really do need to find a solution to the long term legacy issues added to these are the cine films mostly stored in Sussex with John Bishop. I've been out in the garden and mowed the lawns and strimmed the edges , we were going to hack back the apple tree overhanging us at the front but it looks as if our neighbours house sale has fallen through so don't want to provoke a possible arguement over it. We have an evening of medieval Christmas music on at St Oswald's fund raising for the toilet at St Oswald's, this is on the Saturday of the Manchester Boyle St sale for which I need to shuffle around the stock some time, the van hasn't been touched since Lincoln. Photos this evening from Nottingham yesterday morning.
