We had a super short break with family in Hampshire and shared our wedding anniversary with my sisters , we had a day at the seaside, a film session in Southampton etc. Here are shots from today at Alton, so glad to see the event return and so many friends to catch up with there. We look forwards to meting as many customers as possible, this could be our final outdoor event - ever. In future indoors only and even that will end soon. We have made it possible to purchase all our films as downloads, DVDs are so out of date, they are not in HD , nobody can do that, it would be Blue Ray to work. So get everything in HD and only pay £9 a film. Remember PMP DVDs will not be made after March 2028. Meanwhile a few shots from Alton past events. Well with a lot of films and stills DVDs under my belt we are heading into the PMP film trip season which should take in South East, Central and South West England , South Wales and East Anglia and finishes August with a week in Ireland. I'm just putting the last few of friend John Bishops cine on digital it is all copied just being saved to files. I hope to continue the still image files, all with up to a thousand or so images per film and everything now available on download at just £9. No more worries about posting worldwide. We are scheduled to have a small stand at Alton this Sunday but weather looks a bit mixed, I'll film it whatever. We are going to have a stand at Showbus in the marquee, no shows after Alton in the open air with the stand after Hampshire this weekend. So dozens of bus and truck films coming this summer. If you haven't got used to downloads now is the time to try and remember I'm doing a season of limited editions, old VHS releases which have never even been on DVD. Now a dip into the still archive for Manchester Yes we are now really stuck into the still image discs and will soon be starting on a few UK locations For now lets look over to Merseyside for some oldies. We shall be at Alton bus running day next Sunday, very much a bus event from now on. I'm topping up on the DVD stock so we have all recent bus releases on DVD. The rate of demand for digital downloads is picking up but I'm managing to send them out on Drop Box with little delay. The garden is looking well, should be with all the watering it has had from above. Yet more rain today, a good job I didn't take a chance on it. Another look at some of my early photographs in Cheshire and Manchester mostly Another important release is a still photo DVD with all our Indian Tram and Bus pictures, over 800 shots. We shall release our Indian lorry films soon. Meanwhile here are some shots it contains, Now how about something closer to home, ok some of my Crosville views perhaps Tomorrow I'm filming lorries at Wakefield weather permitting.
I took a chance and wore my shorts, not quite Albanian weather but we did have some sunshine ( and clouds) mixed weather not always best for filming but I think I got some good shots of the new electric buses. Someone mentioned filming at the station but I couldn't find it and didn't have time to ramble off on bus journeys as Mandy had made the trip as well. We just got up when we woke and had a potter down, filmed and were home for 5pm. Got the Market traders renewal, the insurance cover for rallies is now £145, this is another cost which will vanish when we stop making DVDs in 2028.
