I got my visa for Sri Lanka today and also did a quick spreadsheet for the trip, it's only a few weeks away now. Mandy and friend Sue went to see Warhorse at the Lowry theatre in Salford, disabled car parking was not only full outside but also in the car park, what Mandy will do when she gets the wheelchair shortly goodness only knows. Anyway the day has been another of wind and rain, sunshine and showers, I had a better nights sleep last night and it was a fairly busy morning at work, I'd gone in all buoyed up on the campaign for the end of August on the company website only to finf we'd missed gloves off the PPE on our 'model', I had to get another 'volunteer' and recruited one of the apprentices, it worked out well, luckily I had the camera with me. So what with that and visitors it was pleasant to have a fairly quiet afternoon. I've now got all the East Kent films from last weekend loaded on to our shop and I'll take the list print out to copy for those without computer access. I found the old video list in a folder on my works computer, been having a bit of a clear out in the films, also need to source another freebie as the motherboard has gone and I need to replace one in the training centre, I think the lads have just left it running forever and now it's goosed. There were a few orders from EBay thanks to the latest sale which started today. The road through to Plumley is still blocked by the large hole and the diversion route is getting more muddy each day. I had the car valeted due to paint spray drift but the lads there weren't much good at it and it didn't look any better than when I drove in this morning. Last night before bed the light in the garden went on as it often does around 10-10.30 pm and not only was our resident hedgehog there but walking across the back of the garden was a fox, Hedgehog carried on regardless and we watched him for about 5 minutes before going upstairs. I'm making a start on the titles for the Japanese films and later this evening will start loading the 1980 shots which should be a little easier for people to identify, I hope so anyway, they are accumulating hits now on Youtube and there doesn't seem to be a lot on for Japan so hope it goes viral around the country. I noted on the Youtube stats that Mansfield now has 3 entries in the top ten viewing stats which is really remarkable. Some clips from the Kent films for tonight, I'll load the piccies on to the Smugmug site and you can buy them from just 50p each. Comments are closed.
