With such miserable cold weather seemingly going on forever it seems quite right that I'm working my way through the Scandinavian film archives and today finished off the last of the Swedish material. Lots of clips as trailers on Youtube, please remember to click one or twice on the adverts which appear, it costs you nothing but creates the income to spend time uploading the files and also of course helps finance future film trips. It's been the usual hectic weekend with the trip down to South Wales yesterday, a bit of a lay in this morning and then along to St Oswalds before nipping to Lowe's farm shop to stock up on ice cream. Then it was back to work, I was up in the loft sorting out more albums of Southdown bus photos which we will dismantle ready for Southdown 100 this year. It also reminded me that i need to get a posterity box for things Mandy and I have stored away which aren't really doing that well in a dusty attic particularly badly since the roofers last years decided to expose it to the elements and then pour all the rubble down without any warning or the chance to cover up against possible damage. I'm hoping that I'll come across my old Northern Irish double decker negatives which can't be in the best of condition now. I did find a huge box of bus models that I thought was documents, these need bringing down and squeezing in the display cabinets somewhere. Today I bring you the photos from yesterday at Pontypridd. I've just got one job on the editing deck to finish and I'll make a start of the two South Wales DVDs, they should both appeal to Stagecoach fans. It's my birthday tomorrow, I'll have to get some cream cakes from Marks & Spencers, hoping that I'll be able to dip into my birthday chocolates this evening. I think we got about 25 Southdown albums down from the attic, no chance to start extracting from them today so will try during the week. We did get the van loaded with the rest of the photos, covers and stand ready for Boyle Street later this month, we'll try and get some of the Southdown photos ready for Cobham which Mandy will be doing with friend Sue as I'll be on my way back from Mexico that weekend.
