If it isn't Google creating havoc with Youtube subscription sites it's now EBay's chance to mess everything up. Their site has changed beyond recognition and everything a seller uses has vanished with a whole raft of useless info and menus, they think all the world is like kids playing computer games, what a bunch of plonkers no wonder Kim runs rings round the states everything they do is a mess. Wouldn't it be nice to wind the clock back and find that the terrorists didn't win the war of independence still I suppose we should count ourselves lucky to have Canada as a calming influence next door. I was up early on my way to Leicester, it did stay cloudy long enough to get a bus film done, there were loads of lovely bus drivers, hundreds waving and smiling and only one from Arriva who did the hands over the eyes bit, driving blind out of the bus station, I wonder what he was hiding from you can't see faces even when you want to, it's the glass ! Then I was going to head somewhere else, Loughborough too sunny, tried Nuneaton too sunny, then tried to get to Crick for trucks, M6 shut south bound, went round Coventry, Rugby route, got there and they had a million cones out so someone could mow the grass, bus the lorries don't go on the grass. The nice people who cut the grass left it in situ that hid the tree stump they had lopped the top off hidden, I went flying, nearly did a somersault. Thankfully only the mike was damaged yet again but gorilla glue fixes it every time. They then all vanished, finally mid afternoon they came back and removed the cones, what a farce, oh and when I lay there winded and in pain, did they come over and offer assistance, no not a jot they didn't, got their van and phone number I'll try and find them on the net and do a review. The sun played cat and mouse, not satisfactory but i got a programme out of it in the end. Tonight editing the last of the archive bus rallies which I'd already listed tomorrow I'll start on the Leicester bus and rick truck. I've a couple of Truckfest N West clips still to go on Youtube. An all time record for both hits on our Youtube channel today 72K and all time max revenue from advertising, looks very promising and I shall be devoting time to get it still higher which compensates for the collapse of the bus or truck rally market. Tonight photos from Leicester. Tomorrow I've a meeting at 10am, then may try for some local filming, also hoping to get out Thursday but have evening meeting to do with the course so can't go far then. Gardening and tidying up at Southern Cemetery are also chores which need attention. Comments are closed.
