A busy day on Saturday as we had a Polio Fellowship collection at Heswall on the Wirral and we were the first in the rota. Then home and a bit of work on current films etc and also the film of my layouts, yes it is really happening at last but not today as it is dark, wet and windy. When we got home round 11pm the hedgehogs were out on the front lawn so I've put some food out there as well as in the back. The band concert was very well attended, nearly a full house in the concert hall as there was also the Lancs Junior band playing in the early evening. So late back and straight to bed as we were up at 5am, what a day for Mandy to be sailing to Ireland but she has phoned and is safe on board and they have put a lot of sick bags out. I'll aim to finish the Leipzig 1996 anniversary film today. The next stills films will be Manchester and then Blackpool. The rest of Lancashire to be followed in turn with the West Midlands. Watch out for progress over coming weeks. I tried to get a ticket booked for the Hong Kong Philharmonic on 23th Nov but couldn't get the ticket sire to work so I'll just rock up and usually there is a few singles free. Anyway as it has been a year dominated by the 200th anniversary of buses in Manchester and Salford here are yet more from my own collection and a few from friends. Comments are closed.
