Our latest limited edition of material never released on DVD and it takes us back just before Czechoslovakia split and before Germany reunited. The camera work is by Dave Cole. I've also digitised a Sussex film previously on DVD but before our friend John Bishop went over to digital video. An interesting time in Eastbourne as Eastbourne Buses was on its knees and there was competition. In the old screen format but in HD at 50fps. The next work will be by Dave Cole again and a similar period to No14. I'm also 'cleaning' up an old Online Video film, part two of Blackpool which should be on the Online Transport Archive Youtube channel this evening. I'm quite pleased with the standard we are achieving on these old films particularly aimed at the digital market and I suppose those who are sticking it out until 2028 when I cease to make films on DVD. Remember everything can be supplied as a download for just £9. As we near our Golden Wedding Anniversary some more shots of Dave and Mandy life and travels which get us away from transport. We hope you enjoyed and had a good giggle at the C5 broadcast in which we featured, not sure I like being described as 'elderly'. I know that a lot of you caught the broadcast and it has already brought new followers to our site. I'm hoping to cover new tram route in Blackpool next week and Stockport for the new bus station. Oxford is high on the list for its electrics. Then we are off to Albania to celebrate our anniversary and look at the transport scene there plus enjoy soaking up the heat and sun. To start the ball rolling some scenes from my day job! The next batch of shots are from various long distance walks for fund raising and pilgrimages, Mandy offered logistical support, dab hand at meeting us middle of nowhere with lunch or dry clothes. The British Polio Fellowship events, meetings, teas etc Comments are closed.
