We were up quite late watching stuff on catch up especially the Panorama programme on hiding money away to avoid tax, mind you there are a few who would say it would be nice to have the money to pay tax on in the first place! We needed to continue to shift cash around to get ready for the new kitchen which involved a trip to Oswestry being the nearest branch of the West Bromwich Bdg Society, I was hoping that the weather forecast would be right and we'd have some sun down there and I could finish off filming at a location I started on many weeks back but just like so many other days it rained. The weather seems set to be as awful now as it's been for the past couple of years, mind you there will now be a drought in Lower Peover as I've put plants in and reseeded the front lawn which really does want some rain as a follow up. I've got myself set to load on another batch of cine films from the 16mm stock, 4 hours worth. I've also tried out my new still camera which has sat in the office fort months, when we were at Oswestry i tried it out but the multiple shots mode wasn't working, I've downloaded the 130 page manual and near the end it told me about another hidden menu which has all that sort of stuff, you can set/change millions of settings but I know what I need and that's enough for the time being. I'm hoping that the weather may settle a bit, nothing planned yet for tomorrow all weather dependent ditto Thursday but we have to be back in Manchester for the Halle concert. Friday and Sat are still free and then Sunday a family baptism. Nothing much in the post or on the net today by way of DVD or film orders so a bit of a rest on that side and there are some old British comedies on the Talking Pictures channel this evening I'd like to watch. Back to dieting days as well. We picked up Mandy's 'new' super fast pro laptop from the market at Ellesmere port on the way to Oswestry although I forgot the negs to drop in at ASDA and also forgot to book Mandy's doctors appointments. I'm now putting the old still camera away as reserve, it's working fine at present but doesn't like damp weather. Some clips from last week follow. I'm now looking at hotels for the trip to South Wales and Alton rally. Comments are closed.
