We had a reasonable sleep I think Martin was asleep before me but we both emerged a from our rooms at the same time and feeling a little better for the absence of alcohol yesterday. The buskeft at 6.30 and it turned out to be a long circuitous route but thoroughly interesting and it took us through some amazing mountain passds full of cuttings and tunnels, hydro electric projects rtc. Passing out of Croatia we had spaceport stamp from republica sryska which was a first for us both and I it was interesting to see the rather run down country often on the seedy side with hundreds of scrap yards full of all manner of car and commercial parts. The buses were also pretty rough, we got ages snatched pictures at various bus stations we halted at en route. We got in roughly a on time, the weather was cooler and cloudy and skittle rain, it got lack for a while I in Sarajevo but cleared although lightening in the back griund. We had a rush hour with the trams a and trolleys, they both all looked rough and uncared for other than some trams in local advertising liveries. The hotel is on the tram route right in the centre of the old town and very new and smart, good so to TV with BBC etc, helpful and friendly, we are surrounded by ice cream Parlours and plenty of restaurant s even an Irish a public we'll check out trip adviser before we go to eat. Tomorrow a day hopefully in better weather fingers crossed. Still getting UK news and radio four etc so up to speed with the bombing aftermath.
