A pity in a way that I didn't know about the change to the coach station, the resurfacing of the main bus stops near Lime St and of course the imminent delivery of new Arriva buses but i suppose you could say that today's visit to Liverpool was as it has been and perhaps I'll be enticed back to do a special on the diversion routes. Well it was perfect weather, light overcast clouds and easy peasy filming with friendly drivers throughout and no hassles on the street. This was the first normal day for over two weeks of Christmas and New Year holidays and the M6 was blocked so i went via the Wallasey tunnel which proved a remarkably speedy route even at the back end of the morning rush. I was soon parked up at my now favourite location near to Lime St and then did a similar circuit to my last visit which proved productive and it was very pleasant not having to dash out of the office late morning and have a rushed lunch time filming. The somewhat mere leisurely approach produced about seventy off minutes of film. Tomorrow the weather looks spot on for doing Birmingham with light cloud so that looks a goer although Mandy is tied up with car servicing. Likewise my car is due in on Wednesday which at present would have been the best day to film in Manchester but perhaps I'll be all filmed out by then. The back end of the week looks more sunshine and rain, there might be a window of opportunity for a truck film. I've started getting pick ups from the airport started for the Colombian trip at the end of the month. Bogota isn't that warm yet but the coastal areas will be in the 30's. Mandy is having her car serviced at Ellesmere Port tomorrow, I came back through today, wondered briefly how things were at work, left a message with my dormer colleague Alan and wished them all the best for New Year etc. It has been very hectic for DVD orders with a really heap going off this morning which has been followed by a busy day, hopefully i'll get the discs and covers ready for Mandy to pack and port in the morning.
