Our one full day in Brunei is at an end, early to bed as we start out at five am with our flight north to the Malaysian part of Borneo. First thing Martin went ticket hunting in the rather dysmal bus station which really let's the country down but there were lots of buses to film and although there is little information .I guess those that use them know where they are you going, most have hardly any passengers but I guess the omnipotent dictator of this small country doesn't ever have to make a bus ride. We took a bus on the your long journey to the port which had a bus station which seemed unused other than as a bus park, services seem to take place from afar park near the ferry terminal with the usual zero information . I read in their English language paper that they want more people to use the buses, good luck with that we say. It's Avery friendly little place and quiet but the port did turn up trump's with a surpringin amount of lorries. In the afternoon we did battle with the hotel when we tried to settle the account prior to leaving they ended up charging Martin four times for his room, three of them on his holiday charge card and finally on his credit card, I must admit on this occasion when we finally got through to booking com they were very suportives. We gave up arguing with the hotel and will pursue it through booking com in the netherlands. We had a few scraps for supper from the river side food fair and then an ice cream nearby. An early night and yet yet bewilderment on Brexit that the UK government are determined to run Britain into the ground, surely they are aware that most Brexit votes were obtained in false promises about the likes of the health service or blatant racism. The demonstrations and millions of votes in the petition seen to count for nothing. We used to be a representative parliamentary democracy are we now Switzerland voting in referendums every five minutes, it is obvious that may and a majority of MPs never wanted brexit and cameroons was the biggest clown in history and may the neerdowell Thatcher Lok alike is as poisonous and as treacherous as her role model.. so sad to see our country fed to the dogs by Tory lies, let Jeremy show an honest approcha and open us up to a fairer more equal caring and kind governance.
