Actually the sun is now shining once again and we should be able to have a wander this evening I and sit outside for perhaps ice cream and coffee. This morning we slept for such a long time that weyhad to get a move on as Albert was coming to pick us up at ten am. He had already called at the garage to see the progress on the poorly Austin ten, it seems that I it needs anew distributer but of course for a prewar car this isn't that a easy but the mechanic has attempted some repairs with the wiring and Albert will test it on Monday. We have just saved goodbye to roser and Albert who are off to their family home at grattalops where the start I of the grape harvest has-been declared for tomorrow, it's only a two hour drive but both of our friends would benefit from not doing this work, yet more jobs for the retired and although Roser is still working it is really a miracle after back and brain surgery over the past few years. Our first trip this morning was to drop Mandy off in the centre of the city, as we are not that far away it would sound a simple task but the local government have declared it a car free day and blocked off many central roads leading to traffic chaos for the already frustrated Barcelona motorists. With the audit Mandy's disabled badge we managed to get through the road blocks and then carried on to the port area for me to film trucks. Again this is loved long detours and took every bit of Albert's local knowledge. The next shave was light rain although it was still fairly bright. It was the location I'd used on aprevious visit only much better as it was nearly continuous trucks accept when the queue ground to a halt and everyone honks their horns in frustration. The drivers were all just as friendly as their counterparts in the UK etc, lots of waves hits and flashing lights. The rain was light and caused no real problem but we couldn't stay as long as I would have liked as we faced the return journey to collect Mandy from the centre of the temporary pedestrianised zine. Actually it was easier as a we now knew how to tackle the journey and decided that we would have lunch at the market restaurant near their apartment, by now it was starting to feel like our own local eatery I'd even figured out where the light switch waxing the loo. Albert dropped us back at our hotel and we had some UK TV via one of the a sites we'd been switched on to in Malta, Cyprus etc. Then they called by to say our fairwells a as they headed off out of the city to the grape harvest. To Oreos I hope to go filming at place Espanya which looked pretty busy today although they are preparing the city fete as well so will be busier than ever but massesoffilm bus routes passing and there is an upmarket shopping area in a the old bull ring adjacent to the large circle or roundabout. Then after lunch back to the hotel and collect a our case and head to the airport, our flight is just before five pm. When I get home need to attend to some annoying crisis which has arisen from changing around photos and trying to update and group images for a better display, even as a museum at Oswald's is a pain and I've already said I am throwing the Howell in being a a church warden as it just brings strife and depression rather than any joy.Click
