Apologies for not appearing last night but by the evening I was is such pain and so tired that i went to bed a bit early, slept right through to about 8.30 this morning but the back pain has gone down to the facets joints and makes walking and bending agony. The good new is that it only gets there when it's on its way out so not long before I'm fully mobile. Of course being me I haven't held off what I needed to do and just carried on and taken a pain killer, I might have to have a couple with me tonight as it's the Clonter Lock In and dinner is at 6.15, its a sort of rock folk show, last time it was at Christmas and had a Christmas Carol type of theme. I've been busy answering the phone all day, no end of calls of all different sorts but does distract after a while and of course many are people I do want to talk to. Nothing much in the post but the orders tend to add up over the weekend so I'm getting some of the recent releases copied as I've orders for ones I've only just today done the covers for. I've also gone out to the garage and checked through the rally sales stock and find I've quite a lot to do to ensure we have all the stock we need for Detling onward. It's my sister Yvonne's birthday ( I won't say which one) in June but it clashes with Gaydon and as we haven't booked yet ( I don't think) then we'll go for the birthday bash. I've just started to file the DVD covers and master copies of the recent releases so I can match them to the orders just received. I've finished all that were waiting and will get the orders I have finished to keep the work tomorrow at a minimum. I've also carried on with the job I started yesterday getting the old grout out of the shower area where it meets the floor and got mould under the sealant. I've finished and dried the grout and put the sealant on. I got a bit on my hands straight away but raided the kitchen cupboard and put a bit of everything on which has shifted it, not sure what its done for my hand but they are certainly clean! THe bathroom now stinks of sealant and you can't use it for the best part of 40 hours so it will be baths instead of showers tonight and tomorrow. Mandy and Sue just had their first shower of rain in Sri Lanka so they went to the spa for some treatments. I've checked the polyanthus in the van ready for Mothering Sunday, they seem fine and well watered so no need to tinker with them. I'm doing the prayers at St Oswalds for the main Mothering Sunday service at 11am, another first but it holds no challenges really. I've also been doing a bit of ordering on Amazon for books ready for my next ministry course assignment, after this there is just a short one which is a review of what I've learnt during the course as a whole. Its been raining here most of the day, the temperature is the highest this year so far at 13, supposed to be sunny tomorrow. Next week I hope to get stuck into the lorries again depending on the weather as ever. The Polio Fellowship meeting was another tiring event, stressful as well as we lost one of our members we learnt this week and the CEO Ted Hill has resigned but it sounded like he hadn't wanted to do this. We had a very nice chap down from the headquarters and he told us about possible help he could get us to help run the branch by way of an accountant and a young willing helper to fetch and carry etc the likes of D of E schemes. So photos, well as Many is in Sri Lanka lets look at it in 1980 Comments are closed.
