Here we are at last, I was that busy yesterday that the blog escaped my mind altogether. My travelling companion Martin confirmed yesterday that it was all systems go for our trip to Russia in May, by tomorrow I should have the deposit paid, we are hoping to get a couple of side trips done out of Moscow, the most interesting transport locations being Kolomna and Ryazin although Tver in the N West is easier to reach but just one tram route left. We'll see what happen. I was doing some ferreting around yesterday looking for additional material for my next Bus Spot Ultra series release and was looking towards East Anglia region for inspiration. It is so easy to just pick on the big cities but we have enough on say Ipswich or Great Yarmouth to produce something meaningful. Today it is cold and frosty, yesterday cold but above freezing but damp and I did manage to get a lot of gardening done, I even mowed the front lawn, tidied the borders, weeded etc. My ministry course resumes tomorrow evening at Chester and today we are launching Messy church at Over Peover at the village hall. Everyone seems to have coughs and colds at present which is typical for January. Tomorrow Mandy goes back to Leighton hospital to see about the second attempt to fix her blocked tear ducts, the first attempt failed. I'll be going with Mandy so probably no time to film but I'm looking at Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday morning. I've updated my UK bus location to do list on the new page of this site. The Youtube channel still languishes in post holiday dip, hits show signs of increasing lets hope that there is movement tomorrow which should see almost a complete return to school or work world wide. I did get a lot more photos files away yesterday and am now in a position to upload lots to our Smugmug still photo sales site which I feel is very underused especially as I created it in response to requests to be able to get prints from our travels. There is needless to say still a backlog of photos to get sorted but not too much as I now try to get them done as I take them. Lets call into our photo archive at East Anglia in anticipation of a production from that direction. Comments are closed.
