The weather overnight into the day was yet another wet one but it cleared later. I wasn't that bothered this morning with the procedure to go through at the dentist. That part is now done and dusted and couple of weeks a space to keep the teeth either side from closing in and then 3 months on a new tooth pops onto today's receiver. As it was ok and the weather was clearing we did our shopping and haircut at Ellesmere Port plus bird food and then the Grosvenor Garden Centre, got some plants to fill gaps. Some of the semi native plants I'd put in which had shown no signs of growth are now coming through so very careful weeding. I've also come to the end of scanning Dave Coles superb mainly tram film early video from Germany. The best is Berlin after the wall has just come down but before reunification. I need to do DVD covers for recent release, as and when. Tomorrow we both have medicals as we have moved from the wretched Holmes Chapel medical centre to the three in one Knutsford practise which towers above the old one 2nd in the league Holmes Chapel at the bottom. So that is Thursday more or less home bases but I can get some gardening done and I hope to save the scanned cine files of the material from Tim Murray which has real sound, great scenes of steam in Poland plus Italy. There is also a set of films covering steam on BR rails up to 1990, masses of locos feature. I'm also going to tackle the first 10 Std 8 films of Paul Creswell's collection for OTA. Meanwhile I'm still adding photos to the new Friends Flackr channel which will go live during June. Here are a couple of random shots ! John Bishop is credited for the first shots of Provincial and then over to your truly!
