I've finished the new tours tram film and just burning the master disc , it looks really good in the bright sunshine on the polished metal finish which was first used as an economy measure by operators after the war when paint was scarce. That with the black looks quite trendy and if it looks dates at some time they can always paint them. The front and rear illuminate with red and green depending on direction. I opened up the Oxford Weymann Fanfare coach to put in its place on my shelves but the wheels are really all over the place so it's one to swap before they start to get scarce. It's been a quiet week for orders on the net and by post which is sort of OK as we were away in France but we are now ready please. I'll give you the viewing stats for last month on Youtube, as they say you can see what is trending. I've picked up a few bite lumps on my arms in France, it must have been doping the trucks at Le Havre, lots of water around, huge set up takes a bit of sorting out, I fancy another go at Rotterdam port some time and I've never filmed lorries at Antwerp, both are enormous and plenty to go at and this year with all the new cab styles there is a lot of interest. I've been out in the garden, home early as its Friday, POETS day as we used to call it, figure it out if you don't know what that means. Anyway we've also got all the edges trimmed and some weeding done. I've ordered up some more plastic boxes for the Irish photos, hope Dublin lads are ready there are thousands coming over with us for the rally at the end of the month, you'll meet Mandy and Sue as I'm away filming in Sri Lanka all booked long before the rally was announced, I hope that there will be an opportunity for Mandy to speak to someone there about a permit to film as the chocolate soldiers there are a pain despite it being a bus route, filling station etc. Photos tonight are from the Tuesday afternoon stint at Le Havre a bit more mixed than the Wednesday at the container terminal. It looks like rain tomorrow at York and Harrogate so they might have to go back in the film spot queue and we'll do North Wales as the weather is going to be better in the West. It's Heaton Park trans Lancs rally at Manchester on Sunday, lots of new releases and with the bad run of weather a a rare chance to get all the stock out, we are having a display of North West area films , who knows there may be a special price as well! We sailed past the 13million mark on our Youtube hots, another Youtube related item is that they have enabled us for subscription channels, this is an interesting opportunity , we would ideally like high speed connection first to upload whole films as released at a subscription rate of say £20 a month, as we realease about 10 a month or more thats £2 or less a throw!
