Tomorrow we are doing our jaunt up to Scotland to update coverage of Glasgow and Edinburgh. The weather outlook is a bit iffy but if we don't do it this week it will bump into our forthcoming travel arrangements . I've already got the car packed ready for the trip, won't be in the pub late this evening as it will be a very early start. Two years since we last did the main cities there. I've done some more work on the Ivor Harding and Phil Tatt cine with the end og the present batch in sight. Then I'll get some of John Bishops out of the way, some of it a first look, what seemed to be so new has quickly become quite classic. So no camera chip so lets dip into the Scotland file for a retro glimpse back to 2015
emI think that I would have learnt my lesson with EBAY, trying to do anything with the shop other than listing ' a similar' item would by a flop. In the end the Ebay listing support gave up and passed it up to the people that write the programmes as there was a fault in the logic of the process which was very new. I finally got a lass in Ireland but that took a lot of doing. So meanwhile people can still get a bargain there but if nothing better happens I'll pull the plug on that just as I did with Amazon. Our shop is the only place where people can get the whole range and particularly good now with the downloads. I was thinking of adding a similar one page item on EBay to select films for downloads but that is now a long way off. We had the alarm chap here doing the annual service, this was after a whole wasted day waiting for Mandy earlier this week.
