First thing up early and up to Bolton in pouring rain, then it stops when I arrive and the sun eventually comes out. Strange as it might seem this time of day suits Bolton in even winter sun light as it streams over the low building and hits them 3/4 side on, perfect for photography ( ish), anyway it worked for me, the DVD master is just burning and all four of the Immingham discs are ready. A few clips to put on Youtube for this evening.
I did some enquiries for the Polio Group meetings and excursions this year and got a couple sorted out. I also I've been making more progress through the Bubb family films, I've also tried to tidy up a bit in the editing room but as ever then more stuff arrives, a delivery of two huge rolls of plastic poppy packing. Everything more or less stashed away. Tomorrow I'm down at Shrewsbury with Peter Waller of the Online Transport Archive, looking forward to some more of that superb Shropshire ale with lunch.
Friday is also spoken for as we both have our 6 monthly dental check up and clean but I'm sure we'll manage to get some work done. We had the new outside lights fitted yesterday morning. The Queens Platinum jubilee committee meets tomorrow presuming Plumlies newly refurbished cafe opens, it still looked shut this lunch time when I got back from Bolton. I would normally have been there but it got moved and then clashed with Shrewsbury. I've done my fair share for the village celebrations in the background.
Tonight its St Oswalds PCC meeting. We may have a RNCM masterclass and private recital on Monday, a leading world class Cello player is attending the college and always a joy to see how the top players coach the young musicians. Anyway here are some pictures from Bolton, oh I forgot I managed to file away a few hundred still shots.
