Its been quite hectic at work with the apprentice reviews yesterday and and conference in Salford today but it finished early and I got back to the office and had to alter signature blocks etc as AMEC have now taken over Foster Wheeler making it AMEC Foster Wheeler plc which really took a lot of imagination to come up with. Mandy now chairs the local Polio Fellowship group and had their meeting this afternoon, we both arrived home late as there had been an accident on the M6 , nothing new there then.
Following the comet landing with great interest, it must be the greatest space exploration achievement since we watched the supposed moon landing which really did look as if it was being broadcast by bean can from a hanger in Nevada. Its pub night after a break for a couple of weeks, friend Sue stays over Saturday night when we have the autumn opera gala at Clonter near Congleton and the following weekend we stay with Sue and see Welsh National Opera at the Birmingham Hippodrome. Meanwhile here are some shots of the leased buses working for the Maltese government bus services, Malta Public Transport - again very original, the Spanish outfit are due to take over in the new year, we'll see though!
