Hectic here as ever, I didn't bother getting dressed until it was time to go to the church this morning, don't really want to be get dressed twice although I got stuck into other jobs then it was a rush. Keith had already beaten me to it though and between us there isn't too much of a rush although for the next three weeks we alternate as I'm at Gaydon classic truck event next week for Saturday and Sunday, the long range forecast isn't for a heatwave but at least dry and some sunshine. Jane signed my papers to subscribe to the Foundation for Ministry course starting September at Chester which is the first year of the CofE Lay Reader training. This is in addition to my Churchwarden duties so an already busy time will get even more hectic. I'll just have to try and do the studying when I'm either traveling or watching TV. Who says that men can't do two things at the same time. I've got another film loaded on to our subscription channel, I think that makes 12 but I need about 30 before I go live, there has to be a good range and substance to ask people to pay up front although for those with an eclectic taste in transport it will offer very good value as we dip into the far corners of the PMP archives. Tomorrow isn't looking as bad as originally predicted the rain later and lighter so its fingers crossed that i can manage to get some film done Monday and Wednesday looks a much better prospect and may see a long distance jaunt down south. This will keep the balance between the bus and truck fans. The Youtube hits have started to climb one more and this is very encouraging and means that we aren't so reliant on attending events which releases Sundays which will be in ever diminishing availability over the next four years. It's good not to have to join the weekend driver rat race on the weekends at least you generally know where you are with the lorries and white van men. I've done the DVD covers for the latest bus releases, Halton and Nottingham. I've got a lot of photos filed but not on our still photo Smugmug site as yet, just time, all the time you could say. There may be another attempt to look at the access to the new toilet from the path at St Oswalds on Tuesday, that works as Mandy's appointment with the consultant isn't until tea time. Thursday we have the Polio Fellowship meeting at Ellesmere Port and I can stock up on bird food, we've run out, starving birds everywhere, I can also get my hair cut there.Friday is getting the van washed and prettied up for Gaydon and loaded with the latest stock and our truck film boxes. Next week Mandy goes off to Ireland, fingers crossed that it will be fine weather and I can get a load of distant filming done. We are running through the Peover Saga film this evening at George and Noreen's place nearby, George was in the Saga as a 9 year old. Photos snatched quickly, lets think - I may get to Bedford area so lets look there. Comments are closed.
