November already, it's hard to believe it, a shame that is would have been a great day for bus filming with hazy sun but we left our friend Sue's house mid morning and called in the potteries for a christening present and only got home at lunch time and then I had a meeting brought forward from this evening with vicar Jane ref our forthcoming Messy Church starting in a couple of weeks. In-between I got the DVD orders prepared and Mandy dropped them off at the post office, she then carried on to the Honda dealer in Crewe as the sat nav in the Jazz has lost it's numbers for post codes, I must look that up as the fix was a bit hit and miss. WE also managed to get rid of that awful magnifying glass icon on Mandy's laptop, given how hard it was to get rid of you wonder what mishap caused it to appear in the first place. We also figured out how to project the image without the computer screen icons showing, that was even more random. We also sold a few more tickets for my charity film night next week. I think thats about 25-30 sold and last time we had lots on the door on the night so fingers crossed. I've been following the weather closely waiting patiently for good weather, light cloud and dry to do York, Harrogate etc but tomorrow which is a free day looks mainly sunny in Yorkshire so it will be trucks probably at Wakefield which looks like being 100% sunny and has masses to offer, don't worry buses will get their updates as soon as conditions allow, only recently it was weeks we couldn't do the lorries. We have had hassles with Google/Youtube, they are blocking millions of clips worldwide with new software stopping advertising revenue if the 'crawler' doesn't understand what the content is, this means translating for an American programme with stuff like streetcars, autos plus I've added nostalgia and hobby here and there hoping to guide their programme away from blocking us. Please look at the adverts, they must be very well placed with all this research and monitoring going on but didn't stop one racist wanting all Bangladeshis harmed, it will of course be deleted and the person will no longer be able to comment, keep it all very family / hobby friendly which we look to bond us all in our shared interests although we recognise that ignorance and hatred was first aimed at us from as near as Yorkshire, thankfully repeated now it would bring a jail sentence for those concerned. So keep it safe and clean and enjoy, a few mores shots from Immingham Comments are closed.
