A productive day, all the recent Irish films are now edited and clips ready to go on Youtube plus covers to make tomorrow, Saturday which will then enable me to make some more major additions. Today alone there have been dozens of films and archive materials put on as digital downloads, the new internet upload was running up to 400 which is a better rate than about 15 we had before. Once the trailers are on Youtube I can start to transfer the two parts of my latest extension dive which really is putting together two other drives which held a lot of space taken up by the shop files waiting to be uploaded. There is still another blending to perform and that should free up lots more films to go on the shop plus yet more archive material. At the same time I've scanned 4 of John Bishops films, most of which have never appeared before, they seemed a bit new at the time but over 30 years old now so time to become a proper archive material. I hope to get more Youtube material on this weekend with buses and lorries from a past Hong Kong visit. We've nearly got all the Christmas cards ready to post, at the latest they will go out Monday, so don't panic if you haven't seen any expected cards. Thanks of course to the many viewers who have sent seasons greeting. Tomorrow amongst all the other jobs I'll try and drag the outdoor Christmas tree around to the front and get the lights on. Well that's only the half of the ongoing jobs, we have a painter in next week to do the hall stairs and landing as Mandy has banned me going up ladders now. We also have a new front door being fitted. Meanwhile we can all relax with some of the lorry shots I took on Monday in Clonmel and Tipperary. Comments are closed.
