The last two events at Detling and Brooklands have been really good for bus content and as a day out fantastic however for trading as usual these days there has been a collapse in support since the pandemic which you will be aware off with the closure of many transport related shops and manufacturers. We of course thank our remaining customers and will do our best to have a presence at these major events. I suppose to a degree the pressure is off now and my time is increasingly deployed either filming or scanning for OTA. together with charities we are engaged with and the development of the new model bus ranges coming up soon from China. Back to the Cobham photos the chap who was directing the buses did a wonderful l job, he was low key and avoided being in shot, much better than the half dozen yellow vests we usually got and any queuing was down to the parking up side. A few whinges going on about the 24 reg buses but I think the majority like myself welcomed the huge time line of exhibits.
I guess last nights problems loading the photos from Cobham was more of a internet thing than down to Weebly but with the events of last Friday I am suspicious of anything to do with Weebly / Square. It is frightening that a company like Square is allowed to trade in the UK. I had experienced problems loading the latest digital download files to the PMP shop ( no problems with DVD listings). Their 'support' waffled on about all sorts of nonsense but after three hours and all their technicians throwing in the towel it turned out that somebody high up had put a very low limit on the size of files I could load. I was always well within their 3GB limit and their staff had been as puzzled as me. At top level they insist there is no limit as that is what they still claim but decided that I was loading too much. Like most USA companies they talked nonsense about as sincere as have a nice day. I got nowhere really and need to experiment with files either compressed or more but smaller files. There are alternatives such as Youtube PMP Supporters Club, which would for a payment give access to all full DVDs released other than those which would have online copyright issues, those would stay on our Weebly based shop. So I need to experiment. In the mean time just no more downloads added at present, past uploads no problem.
