All the recent DVD releases are no on the shop. We are still waiting for the replacement card terminal, it should have been here today. I'm using the wetter part of the week to get caught up, tomorrow I want to populate the Online Archive Youtube Channel. Meanwhile here are the remainder of the recent releases.
OK I have completed the journey to London. It was not without some problems. My train was cancelled so I had to wait for another then the second train was late arriving, then it got diverted due to track maintainance ( Saturday Sunday often get that problem). I started at Tottenham Hale tube station then went to Walthamstow. I had never been there before, brilliant bus station. I caught two buses for rides and more pictures inside plus lots of external. Then I went to a more central London position but I had made a big error in my planning. It was our King's official birthday with parade and later a pop concert. The whole of the centre of London was without any buses. Then I went south to end at Elephant & Castle bus hub. I got two hours of film plus got my secret mission completed! phew I needed a couple of beers after all that A bit of a back log building up for editing and covers plus need to update DVD list, update Ebay shop, get more digitals on , set up the Online Archive Youtube channel, live but no content yet. Anyway still very hot, largest number of orders for any day in 2023. Photos from the A1 Black Cat Roundabout. The elimination of this scene has already gone back a year or two but fear that it could be starting soon. How about this one, lunch time today at Norwich bus station, first morning in service, just happened to be there. We covered Ipswich, Lowestoft, Gt Yarmouth, Norwich and Kings Lynn. A catch up day tomorrow. Well even Cheshire edged into the 30's today, now it is still thunder and lightening but no rain at all. I was sweltering refreshing the grout on the bathroom wall tiles, with this and the floor done in the shower section plus some tidying the corners around the windows I think I'm on top of those jobs. Relentless heat, buckets of sweat came off me, will I shed any weight, doubt it. Here is a shot of the three models I picked up from Roy Finney at Gaydon yesterday, they really are superb. A few more photos from Gaydon, I've been editing the Gaydon DVDs between jobs and when I get clear I'll make a start on the Online OTA archive Youtube channel. We are on the road now for two days, Suffolk and Norfolk, Ipswich, Lowestoft, Gt Yarmouth, Norwich Kings Lynn. Back Wednesday evening. All orders for DVDs are up to date. Just had my first beer of the evening, much needed after an afternoon at Gaydon at 30 deg C, really good day, first time there as a visitor, no queues to go in and no rush to get us out. I'll have enough just, for three programmes. Meantime lets have a look at what I photographed. I also picked up three models that Roy Finney has constructed for me. I got my ticket for Gaydon tomorrow, shocked that it only opens to public 10-4 and £16 even for an oldie, it shows that it is probably worth having a nominal stand for access. I got the recent photos all filed away. Then gardening , downloading old VHS tapes to digital, sitting in sun etc. It was almost 29 in our shaded back garden although our seat is in the sun from 10am onwards at this time of year. All packed ready for Gaydon, this made me think why not have a few Gaydon past shots tonight.. Several new golden oldie programmes in the pipeline, Lucerne Switzerland, London Scrap Yard buses, London more features from the past, East Midlands, West Midlands etc. Of course these will be in DVD as well as download. Download will be easier to put on the shop when we have super fast net. As new features clash with earlier releases I'll delete the earlier one as all cine will be enhanced and 'cleaned', ditto old video. I am now looking after the Online OTA Youtube channel which I need to populate with something to announce it is there. Lots of ideas for filming this week such as Edinburgh and Glasgow, Cardiff and Newport. , two that we have mulled over. Next Sunday we may well be at Durham bus rally, we shall also have a lorry outing. So here we are Gaydon a while back A lovely sunny hot day and we did manage a few hours sat in the sunshine in the afternoon after getting the new DVDs covers made and printed, finishing off the dvd editing beforehand and putting therm on the PMP shop. I also fed the plants and tidies up some of the back garden borders.. Here are the latest DVDs
