I must first of all say the engineers who came out today were super helpful and worked hard in the heat. The answer to our internet problems has layers, last time whoever attended did nothing to resolve ongoing issues, these have now been resolved and the feed to the router is now just a few inches from the entry to the walls. The bigger problem which is actually impacting on the who road is that the cabinet at the end of the road is getting too hot by mid to late afternoon and causing all sorts of random things physical and digital to go wrong. As the BT cabinets have no coolant fan etc it only happens when the temp reaches a certain level then the whole road suffers, it was just I was the first to complain firstly a year ago and latterly 2 months ago when the first heat wave had hit. So it is now fingers crossed. This took up most of the day and I did get all the South West DVD covers done so can load them on the shop, I'm also getting all the digital versions ready to add say tomorrow. Never got to sit in the heat at all. We are going to skip dinner and just have fruit and cream. I've also carried on scanning the cine films for OTA, around 6 left to do now. This is mostly re work going back to the new computer installation day disasters. While I'm still getting files saved I'll just give you some more shots from the South West trip. Comments are closed.
