A great trip to Crick Drift1&2 today, well this morning mainly. I got up at 6.30 left 7 and was parked up at Crick for 9am, not bad. I went over the A50, the congestion at the M1 wasn't bad as south bound traffic at Derby/Nottingham was gridlock so not much on the road south where I joined and swiftly down with any problems. The weather got better as I neared my destination, clear blue sky most of the morning, came over cloudy lunch time. I gave up about 2.30 and had lunch at Stobarts cafe. Some amazing shots loads of Stobarts , Eddie and a few Willie and Malcolms etc. Friendly drivers, lots of thumbs up, lights flashing, a few hoots. Really went well, very pleased with the results and lots of still photos as well as three hours of video. This will all go on the shop as DVD and downloads early next week as tomorrow we head down to Pembrokeshire for Haverfordwest and Carmarthen following on from our last trip which got us as far as Cardigan. The digital downloads are going well, just learning what to check to make sure they have fully loaded on the site as there isnt really anything positive to tell you, the characters go from capitals to small I think. Anyway I'm glad its working and people are using it, only £8 a download and instant. No waiting for the post, no lost envelopes. Ditto the downloaded still photos, all there for the asking. Here are some shots from this morning, todays orders will go in the post box when we go round to the pub later for our Thursday night drinks. Up very early tomorrow to head south west, weather less than ideal but as we are at the theater in Cardiff Saturday it seemed daft not to do it, getting to the far flung corners takes a lot more effort and luck than swift jaunts within a day of home.
