Today should have been Detling South East Bus Festival, alas the constant March rain prevented it but we look forward to meeting lots of our friends and followers at Brooklands in two weeks time. If the weather is good we have two spare days to cover buses in that area. This week I hope to get some lorries filmed on Monday then see how the rest of the weeks pans out. I'll mention the truck DVD situation a few times before July so everyone knows what is happening. As of July edition of Classic and Vintage Commercials magazine we shall cease advertising. Without any notice they just stopped sending us the advertisers copy and just repeated the same advert saying it is all electronic now. I look upon it as over £100 month wasted, we will carry on as usual with production of lorry films, they will be on the list, on the shop, downloads as well as DVDs, clips on Youtube just no advert. We put a range update in each mail order so that should cover the non IT folk. I do hope to put all the pre 2000 truck films on digital and on Youtube, lorries garner us a much larger proportion of Youtube revenue than buses, trams or trolleybuses. I'll alter Youtube but to car and vehicles as putting them under travel has gained nothing and possibly restricted growth. Comments are closed.
