I've not stopped all day although I can't say we were up that early and my knee wanted a bit of a rest after the Lincoln trip.THe DVD is made, needs a cover but clips already on Youtube. The orders came flooding in by telephone today which was sometimes a bit of a pain as I was out in the garden. I dropped off my P45 tax document to Amec pensions at Knutsford, handy having their head office round the corner. We went to Natwest in Knutsford Mandy then brought me back home and after lunch she had to go and do the shopping and then prepare for her trip to Ireland which kicks off early tomorrow. There were a few things on the gardening agenda starting with clearing the front borders of summer bedding plants a shame as there was still a lot of colour but the frosts can't be far away despite the very mild spell of weather. We had fog nearly all day until late afternoon thus temps here were very much in single digits. I got this done and went to stock up at Hills garden centre on the Holmes Chapel Rd, they have changed hands to something silly like one big one or whatever. Anyway its all Christmas decks and staff who couldn't give a toss. Thankfully they did however have what i wanted and there was a meagre reduction for end of season which means new year wreaths will be out next week followed by Easter eggs in December. I got everything (nearly) planted up, the leg / knee was a bit sore, the knee caps took kneeling but i couldn't really manage to work in that position with both hands free. By the time I got finished and Mandy had returned we had to start getting her car loaded for the trip and then I started on all the DVD orders, its 6pm now and I've still not sat down. Anyway everything on the net and post is sorted ready to post. If the weather is suitable tomorrow there may be a film trip there are lots of options around, Halifax, York, Staffordshire, Keighly and that's just the buses. A couple of postings on Youtube over the weekend.
