We had a lovely night at the Clonter Opera Prize last night with friend Sue Mensforth, a surprise choice by the judges although we were in sync with the audience choice. We got home and got the detritus from the picnic sorted by which time it was gone midnight. A late start this morning and then church and afterwards I gave the little IQ a good clean including a first under the bonnet. It will need a major refurbishment when it has gone round the clock by which time it will be of some interest I hope as most will have vanished at present it has done 77k. The January figures for ourselves on Youtube reflect the auction of advertising space and still produced a worthwhile income for the archive. I noted that we have nearly 74k following us and that overall the top 10 viewing countries are mostly after the UK in Asia reflecting the several trips I've made ther3e for transport interest. It is a sham,e that we can't put the archives on our channel. I've got through quite a few films stored digitally today but it is still very time consuming. I must get the material being readied for OTA storage on Thursday labelled up. The outstanding editing now surrounds the Bus Spot Ultra on Oxford and the Widnes/ Runcorn production, that will teach me not to announce things ahead of finishing them but I will make some effort with these. For tonight I will return to Oxford for some shots which will perhaps encourage me with the editing. Comments are closed.
