Greetings readers worldwide, the action packed lives of Dave and Mandy continue in this social whirlwind although today's venture was a little more prosaic as we headed before lunch to Ellesmere Port and luckily there was no queue at the barbers so I was quickly defleeced and we headed off to Goredale garden centre with a couple of hours to spare before the Polio Fellowship group talk and tea. Before we left we'd had a busy time getting the film and DVD orders ready to post, getting stock replaced from last sale at Glasgow plus gaps we'd missed. Then I'd gotten the latest release on Manchester's Orange Buses copied in bulk ready for the Manchester museum event Saturday and Sunday. The weather doesn't seem to be looking bad so please get out there ride the orange buses and come into the museum of transport and see us. We picked up the remainder of the bedding we'll need to finish off our home garden and the graves at Southern Cemetery in Manchester which we tend plus a few more bulbs, Mandy bought a washable rug for the kitchen which I thought was extortionate but she thinks I'm out of touch on prices. Anyway tomorrow the van goes into Quick fit at Northwich for it's MOT and it needs new front tyres which will doubtless cost a bomb. I've left the plants in Mandys boot and will try and get the job finished off tomorrow afternoon. Tomorrow night it's the harvest supper at Plumley village hall and then Friday hopefully we get to the cemetery and tidy up the graves in readiness for winter into spring. Not much in the post today , very little on the net so far but it will be nice to have a rest tomorrow morning but no doubt we'll get inundated at some stage. Christmas is already happening at every eatery and retail outlet and I'm giving thought to putting a sprinkly of seasonal; crap on the web site, its got to be done, the Christmas cards are ordered. Some clips from recent releases on DVD. And some photos from the scrumptious tea at Goredale plus the Sparrowhawk in the garden yesterday waiting for his favourite, gold finches, yummy!
