Good news for fans of transport in Ireland with two new bus DVDs of Belfast and three new lorry DVDs, I'll get these edited in the next few days as we are off to the ROI next Thursday and return a week on the Friday. The wish list weather dependent is as stated in the earlier blog with Dublin, Galway, perhaps Limerick, Cork and Waterford. Lets hope we get some sunshine for the lorries at Clonmel and on the Cork Limerick road. I had a very long day yesterday up at 4.45 am and back home near 11pm. The good news continues , we now have two more disc duplicators which I'll set up over the weekend. The most important good news is that we have reestablished the Youtube partner programme on our channel which is a main revenue stream for the archive, this means though that we'll rigidly stick to their latest guideline and instructions with no cine archives, no dubbed sound and a personal introduction where possible, I might get some generic ones done where nothing exists. So very upbeat but still quiet on DVD orders this week although we recall it went quiet with the start of the holidays last year. We have a busy day, Mandy and I are church 'watching' for the flower show at 4pm through to the start of the concert tonight so having lunch time dinner and meanwhile getting the van loaded ready for Alton on our return, a very short trip, down Saturday and back after the rally as we have an important church joint pcc meeting about the vacancies coming up for 8 churches in a line including our St Oswalds. We are erecting the PMP tent early Saturday for the village fete which will need to come down again afterwards on Saturday evening. I'm now the 'official' photographer for the flower show and associated decorated 'gates' etc over this four days celebrating 750 years of churches at St Oswalds location. Here we start with photos from Belfast, I'll alternate a bit as the days go by. Comments are closed.
