A bit on the cold side for my liking, Mandy and I are already thinking of hotter climes but await the results from the biopsy on the bits they removed and Mandy's CT scan on her lung growth. Then there is the uncertainty over travel next year with the wretched Brexit issue. I'm just hoping they will pull the plug on the whole farce. So when all that is out of the way we can get back to our travels. Today there were a few jobs to get out of the way, a lot of DVD orders to send out including some quite big ones. Ongoing editing and cover making for latest films then dash off via the post office and then down the M56 to Ellesmere Port, first stop haircut then pick up bird food supplies and on to M&S and after shopping lunch. Then a dip into the Aldi or Lidl I can't tell the difference, we picked up a couple of bottles of wine a friend had recommended, we'll report back on it. So then it was the Polio Fellowship meeting with everyone reeling slightly under the shock wave released on the charity when it was revealed that sitting pretty to near bankrupt came out at the AGM, thankfully the branch funds are safe. Anyway on a very positive note we have made a lot of progress on the 2019 programme of events for the branch with a little homework to be done. We had a very swift return home even though it was the start of the rush hour, still cold, just above freezing but light wind so bearable. It looks as if I could get some film work done next week but getting to Kent would be a challenge as we are in Hampshire on the Saturday before Christmas. I would think things will start to get quieter but we still have the social side with another concert and dinner tomorrow at the RNCM perhaps trying to fit in Waterloo and Jennies exhibition at a cafe there. Then Saturday we are out for afternoon tea with friends from my ministry course on the Wirral. I've a few DVDs to get listed on the shops, not much point making them and then sitting on them. Slide show from Gateshead this week. Comments are closed.
