Not a lot to say really, the lads and lasses on the lorries were as friendly as ever, a relaxing enjoyable day without any of the head bangers who find refuge on the fringes of the bus industry. Stobarts truck stop served up a fine sausage barm with butter and brown sauce, the sun shone all day there were plenty of lorries, lots of thumbs up, waves and lights flashing and a few hoots what more could I ask. three volumes at the distribution DIRFT area, when the new extensions are opened it will be even more manic, lots for the Stobart fans and post lorries plus lovely Malcolms as well. I then went up past Stobarts to the roundabout in Leicestershire and got some of the busy lorry atmosphere there. A pile of DVD orders waiting at home, Mandy had got me a lovely dinner from the local farm shop and an ice cream for afters, a bit of shopping at M&S first thing Friday and then after early rain it should be sunny. Had yet more hassle from eBay over a mistake a German customer made ordering two but only paying for the one DVD he wanted. Could eBay just cancel it for him, its gone on two days I despair dealing with American companies, with a new world order perhaps if there was no USA or China the world could cope better with fewer folk and better produce, less pollution and no Trump. After the behaviour of our sour outposts in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland I think Englands new economic problems would be greatly helped by forcing these reluctant constituent parts to leave the UK and telling them not to come round with a begging bowl anytime soon or expect any parting gifts.
