We were up at 5 am and over to Teesside to beat the M62 rush hours traffic, we had breakfast in Guisborough and then to the crematorium near Redcar. Spent a lot of time chatting to Bill's lads and my old colleague Peter Bradley. I thought that there would have been a better showing from Bill's friends and colleagues but the humanist ceremony was pleasant and it was great to catch up on old times, lots of names sprang from the depths! We set off about 1.40 from Marske and arrived back in Manchester just as the rush was building up, had a coffee in the canteen then it was into the supporters reception which went very well with food, drink and entertainment plus of course company all spot on. Late now , bed time. Skipping Rugby trucks tomorrow as weather not certain, may try for Blackburn and Accrington new bus stations and do Rugby next week if weather is OK. Photos from Loughborough yesterday.
