Thank you all for your concern and notes reference Rotala, I think the traffic commissioners for the West Midlands may be a good starting point for getting the matter of the vicious driver resolved. It seems that scratch beneath the surface and there are whole rafts of concerns of malpractice with Rotala/Diamond. We have been busy getting models on the shelves, about 1300 so far, I think I must have underestimated how many I have. I'll get the areas I have most interest in done first there are lots of coaches which are nice enough but don't relate strongly to any particular region I collect. I might tighten up the lorry and van sections to make more space without a home at present is the whole of Wales other then Crosville and Eastern England is looking a bit too tight to fit. At least we have taken the empty card boxes to the tip and emptied the shed of rubbish we've put in there 'pending'. I've edited the two DVDS from yesterday, I've edited out the face of the Diamond driver and taken out the actual attack which could be used in evidence. There is enough left to show what happened. I'll get clips on this evening although I don't know where the day has gone. We were at the pub night, firs time since they reopened after the refurbishment, a bit gastro pub grey but very tidy and bright alas the step up to the door remains and now there are even cobbles for Mandy to negotiate. Pub gossip has now extended to a ( highly false) rumour that St Oswalds church may be closed and moans about the pew removal for disabled access. Mandy has been speaking to the assistance director at Manchester airport and is going to present to their quarterly airport forum on measures which need taking to make it more acceptable for people with mobility problems and other impairments. Mandy was very annoyed with the facilities coming back through terminal 2 from Indonesia, MIA compares unfavourably with many so called developing countries airports. We got the Polio Fellowship journal today, at last a bout of openness and truth has broken free from the smoke and mirrors deployed to bafle members since their financial crisis. Photos from Cheltenham for tonights slide show. Comments are closed.
