There seems little to be upbeat about, the stock market has had huge falls taking a slice out of our retirement funds but of course these things are for the long term but when you are getting older that long term is ever nearer. The corona virus seems to causing an epidemic of panic with seems to outweigh the medical realities particularly compared to the seasonal flu flare ups. We have had a good weekend with my sister and brother in law plus great long time friend Sue. A day of indulgent shopping and enjoying some of the wilder delights of the RNCM with the bi annual session orchestra bash this time with US music legend Mo pleasure whose long career in music bridged an era stretching from ray Charles to Michael Jackson and Earth Wind and Fire. He demonstrated some great virtuosity at several instruments and also managed to fit in Gershwins Rhapsody in Blue. The whole show was prefaced by the Northern Session Choir a most uplifting start to a super evening which followed the inevitable treats of Jose's team at Brodskys restaurant where we feel like being at home with family. A couple of quick chats with principle Linda Merrick. Today we've been out to High Leigh garden centre where spring really seemed to be in the air with a bright sky, the miniature 7 1/4" railway running and a few bit for the garden. Perhaps it will dry out enough for a go at tidying up outside, so many jobs have mounted up now. I've also been running through ideas on phase two of the showroom/editing suite display cupboards which i hope to get completed later this year. A few more cine films scammed along the way and some preparatory work on the next couple of Bus Spot Ultras as announced earlier this weekend. I've certainly got Tuesday penciled in for a double bill of film locations and hope for one or two more film days this week , we need to give our Youtube presence another boost. We are still loading on more of the West midlands video archive to digital download. The house seems quiet after the guests have departed. Lets look at some London buses as the RT will feature very soon on our Ticket'boo series. Comments are closed.
