 A wonderful night lon Wednesday when we went to see Sarah Foubert as Hannah the lead part in The Merry Widow. The reviews in the MEN were great and after the performance with caught up with Sarah and her friends in the bar. The whole performance was up to the usual RNCM standards and the orchestra spot on, with the added dancing they were almost contenders for 'strictly'. The beer was good as well Jennings and Hobgoblin, a nice contrast , I wish the Golden Pheasant had more contrasting ales but then I don't think Richard really sees it as more than a glorified restaurant. The weather was more cloudy and less cold but that is only temporary the way it's going I wouldn't be too surprised to see snow bnefore Christmas. Today I got my passport back with the Indian visa, now I need to complete the documentation for the Bangladesh visa which is only valid for two months from time of issue, I've used Travcour who seem very efficient and it was they who sorted out the difficult Algerian visa from the robbing sods at their embassy but not until they had robbed the first payment . Hard really to equate such a place with diplomacy I bet they have a pile of unpaid traffic infringements. I also got the revised quote from Mexico City and we've managed to get the price for 2 down to the price for three with a few tweaks to the booking which has enabled me to confirm the booking to our local agents, just waiting for Laura McKay at the flight centre to get the BA flights sorted, they are horrendously expensive but all alternatives take forweeever getting you there.
