Greeting friends, customers, relations worldwide. Summer in England staggers on for another day in Cheshire but at teatime the rain has finally arrived. I'm almost upto-date with editing the recent film footage and the last one on Trafford park trucks taken Monday will be ready shortly leaving a pile of DVD covers to design. This morning Mandy seemed to be quite well considering her operation yesterday and we have carried on more or less as normal with the church PCC meeting this evening. Mandy's eye hasn't gone black although it is swollen and a little light bleeding now and then.I went to St Oswalds via the vicarage where I dropped off Jane's holiday film I'd put on DVD plus the slide show for the launch of the toilet. I caught up with my church key which is a bit of a Flintstone and far too big for our key box. I took my old overalls with me for doing the toilet floor with the tile acid but the mice had been at it and it was in pieces all over the vestry carpet. Not a good start, I should then have stiopped and gone back for another pair of overalls but took a chance although I still had my goggles thank goodness.I first of all fitted the magnetic door closure which worked well and then the floor, a messy dangerous job with more than the odd speck on me, I had a wash under the outside tap a couple of times and a good shower when I got home. I've mown our lawns and carried on with the editing, there wasn't that much in the post and got all orders off by return of post. I think we are going to have a relax tomorrow with a visit to NT Erdigg near Wrexham but perhaps stopping off at Chester to take a few shots of the new bus station which can go with the Crewe material I've yet to use. I tied in with my pals Martin and John. I'm meeting Martin half way through my Ukraine trip, John won't be coming to South America in Fen 18 so that's on hold to reschedule.Tonights slide show from Trafford park Monday Comments are closed.
