The PMP tent went up for the first time as we cleared the cars and van from the drive and struggled for the first time ever erection which due to a sudden onset of rain didn't even give us a chance for a photo however several neighbours offered a hand but we declined as we need to be able to erect it ourselves on Sunday at Cobham, I can well see us going for options to erect the afternoon before an event as the side panels , plus front and back need to go on and off each time. It took a bit of doing, not so much space inside as we are used to but it will be great to have secure under cover 100% rain protection, I need to purchase a rubber mallet for all the additional pegs but we also have 4 of the heavy feet weights which as that heavy that I felt like a weight lifter in training. It's all packed up again waiting for a dry day to get the van reloaded ready for the Cobham at Brooklands rally where I'm assured by a good source we should see all the vehicles arriving from one direction down the slope from the circuit and it is thought that a major event could be held there once the circuit is complete, suggestions include a North and South Showbus, whether that will happen is another thing but an interesting concept, one in the spring perhaps and another in the autumn. Other exciting activities included my trip to the physio at Holmes Chapel reference my continued shoulder pain which turns out to be my usual weak spot my spine, this upper spine irritation comes out as sciatic pain in my shoulder, I have exercises to do and a follow up appointment next Monday. I've been monitoring the weather, it looks OK for us to come down early Friday either filming as we go south and then London area on Saturday, this means I need to book two nights in a hotel in the area. We did quite well for Detling where we stayed and also where we ate. I've got all the DVD edited from the weekend and will start ob the DVD covers tonight, all will be at Brooklands next Sunday. We'll also bring some of our stock clearance lines along, these will be 4 for £20. There will also be photos from Southdown, Brighton, M&D and Hampshire. For our next visit to the south east I'll probably get my 'modern' Kent images printed up and attract a younger audience. Don't forget our still sales via the links to our Smugmug site which has many thousands of our images from just 50p, lots of different ways to get them done as special memorabilia etc. Well a few more shots from Detling all featured in the DVD.
