I think it's a good job we are on a banana diet these two days as we'll have plenty of skins to stew before the politicians on the run up to the British general election, I guess Dear Leader Cherry Blossom May blessings be upon her is hoping that labour minus Scottish seats will have no chance of making any sort of meaningful recovery. I wonder if some one invented a stay in the EU party if that would get anywhere. Probably not as since it was declared that we would be leaving the EU seem to have been particularly nasty and seemingly forgotten that half of us voted stay. Many now like me have adopted a stuff you lot attitude as really they never did much to encourage a stay vote and other than agriculture I don't think that much of EU origin seems to have hit the public full on unless it's the head of the valleys road in Wales which isn't much of an advert as it has taken forever, perhaps it will end up built be the Chinese. Anyway there are far too many parties, I think that Dear Leader Cherry Blossom may take a leaf out of the Turkish book or dare I say it from Scotland where one party seems to get along quite well in fact we'd be right up there besides the PDRNK. Now there's an idea we could join the axis of states who don't belong to anything else, there really is one the likes of the Caucasus break away states and Transniestre all belong to it, they could build statues to the great cherry blossom leader and how she made the country easier to run when she got rid of all disabled people, sent the poor as labourers in China and scrapped health care all together unless you earned over 250K a year. The police become armed with grenades and bazookas and patrol in armoured cars, ooops of course it was just like that in Britain once if you happened to live in N Ireland. So there is a precedent for most things and we are off to have a few days in Northern Ireland and celebrate 50 years of Ulsterbus which has had it's own trials over the years and looks set to reinvent itself yet again. There is a convoy of heritage buses doing the round in NI at present and we hope to catch up with it on Thursday or Friday. The rally is outside the museum on Saturday, I'm not sure what is on display inside I suppose we'll have to cough up to find out!. Anyway my vote is for Jeremy on of the few down to earth politicians around, he may not be the best public speaker but there is always substance to what he says you just have to listen a bit more carefully after all it was rhetoric which got us in this EU mess and with Trump in the USA. I'll blog 'on the road' when and if I can otherwise we'll be back on Sunday, all DVD orders will go out on Monday next. THE ONLY CHOICE
