At more or less the last minute we decided that my health was more important than getting to Belgium, I hurt it carrying concrete and pebble bags for the greenhouse a few days back and although its not in the spine the muscles are very sore and I have difficulty standing straight. The big problem would be walking with my camera bag. As the flights weren't too expensive I've just let it go. Despite all this I cleaned off the plant pots and trays from the greenhouse and got them all back tidily before Mandy demanded I stop because I couldn't stand up. This just leaves the final bits of interior painting to do which of course i can do whatever the weather. We were at Buxton Opera House this bank holiday Monday afternoon but first stopped off at the bank and got mushrooms to make a risotto with left over chicken from yesterday. It was Merrie England a little produced operetta these day but a dismal caste of way over the hill pros some of whom must have been alive when it was written. The weather was brilliant and we had a drink sitting outside opposite the theatre at the pub which has a good range of real ales, most Greene King, I had ** London, can't remember exactly bit of a play on Fullers London Pride. I got the Dutch DVDs loading on our shop and the clips are on Youtube. All the weekend DVD orders are ready to put covers on and post. Over the next week back and weather permitting I'll make some close to home excursions to Greater Manchester area bus stations as a year has already gone by from the visits I put in before my knee replacement. Anyway we seem to have a pile of things to get on with so playing it all by ear for a few days now. Next weekend is Heaton park, at least i've a little more time now to get prepared. A week Thursday is my film night at Plumley, getting worried about how many tickets or how few have been sold so far. Anyway still with the Netherlands and o to Amsterdam. Comments are closed.
