My chesty cough has now entered its third week, I went to get more cough medicine but they said I should ring the doctors which I did and they said see how it is by Thursday, so no cough medicine still spluttering away, I'll get some tomorrow elsewhere if needs be, can't carry on like this forever. The weather was very wintery this morning, 2" of slush on the Plumley Moor road and ice patches, it was hammering down with sleet. There are severe weather warnings out over the motorways warning of high winds on Wednesday. I was meant to do a safety tour today but put it off until tomorrow after hitting the ground running straight into reviews and meetings as soon as I got through the door, worn out by mid afternoon with episodic coughing fits, nearly choked last night, also developed a twitching in the right hand sort of like when your eye twitches only more bizarre to watch. I received yet another EBay bargain in the post under £2 for Atlas fire engines can't be bad, also picked up another of the exquisite French railcars for under a tenner. The world buses from South America are at a crazy price so I'll pace myself on those but would really like the more esoteric models which are really off the wall and would never have dreamt they would be modelled. Little on the net tonight so a bit of a respite for Mandy, a few more Xmas cards to write out, several arriving each day now but so far we've already sent the relevant card out. I'm still wading my way through the West Midlands area videos putting them on to DVD for the first time, I'm now through to 1998 but really I need to be sending off the magazine dcopy which they request so early. I also went through next years events calendar again and have pretty well got the year sussed so I'll load on to the web site, I see that Showbus is still marked as provisional , I wonder where it will land up in 2015, Peterborough is the rumour at present. Tonight a lot to do then so I'll leave you with WM Youtube uploads from last nights postings. Comments are closed.
