We seem to be on a very positive drive forward getting most of the new elements in the PMP Archive active. Today I added a category in the shop for digitised unedited archives which can be downloaded for enjoyment, research, home viewing and downloaded with licence for commercial use. The first up was a cine reel which has a mix of Austrian,USSR and Hungary,Czechoslovakia trams and trolleybuses. This will mean I can dispose of the actual reels to a suitable storage location preferably one which then reciprocates with loan of other film we can release. Certainly the national archive wants nothing like this however good it is, shortage of funds restricts activity in so many facets of modern Britain. I have put a couple more of the recent DVD releases on as digital downloads. Today I completed the Bus Spot Ultra Burnley, I've already made the DVD cover for it. The trailer clips will be going on to our Youtube channel later this evening as time on the computer permits. As with other recent volumes it runs for two hours and old images have been sharpened up as much as they can stand to match the modern media such as tablet and phones, a 50" screen in your lounge will do nothing for their sharpness! I'm looking at perhaps Tuesday and Wednesday for filming this week, any chance of getting down to Kent seems to have vanished so we'll probably have a good catch up when we go down for Detling and Brooklands in April. Lets keep a lancashire theme going for this evening slide show, remember all the photos are in the Sumgmug shop link on this site. Comments are closed.
