How did I ever fit in going to work, at least now the knee is far enough advanced to let me get on with quite a range of activities. We went down the Pheasant last night, the new manager is blitzing the cleaning and now even the gents smelt reasonable, perhaps it was the drains needed cleaning. Also spot on was the Lees special for the season Drayman's thingey, a really nicely balanced ale and noticeably different to their other offering which mostly taste very similar. I actually slept through most of the night, a bit of pain around 2 am and a Tramadol to ease it then it was 6 am and I could have laid in bed but we had the cleaners coming and a full liost of things to do which included Building Society, Butchers and bank in Knutsford, paid milk bill heading back towards Holmes Chapel then on to Congleton for a quick bout of filming but as Many had an appointment with Prof Jari for her knee ( yes we have 'one' each under his surveillance. I was surprised just how much there is with Beartown, GHA D&G plus Arriva although I bet there are more independents on schools and colleges. The weather was mostly sunny and dare I say almost warm. I had to take my surgical stockings with me and change into them at the hospital in case the prof spotted that I'd ditched them in favour of knee length DVT black socks. We managed to get away home before the rush hour got underway. we called in at the Southern Cemetery on the way back from the hospital and other than the grass growing too fast all looked well although we had to cancel the family event on Sunday- here is the Hardy family plaque on the bench and Mandy sitting opposite her mother. We have booked up a trip to see our friends in Corbie in Piccardy in October so things are now gaining pace, I wanted to get down to Plymouth, perhaps it will fir in mid week sometime. We looked out for lorries heading to Cheshire showground for Truckfest N West but not one in sight so that was a job less to worry about. Tomorrow if the forecast remains good we are going to film the buses in Blackpool as its been a while since I was there and there are a lot of fans for buses in that area although the trams are only worth looking at once as nothing new happens. I must get to Nottingham as well. We've now booked the hrtel for Dublin and just been on the phone to confirm the ferry, we'll have Friday afternoon and Monday morning to film in the city plus perhaps the post if i don't get thrown out. The rally is Saturday and Sunday, we'll have our 'Irish' stock of photos and DVDs and a selection from our main DVD range - the full list is now on the ipad if anyone has any queries on what we have on our list so instant answers instead of ceaseless searching. If anyone wants us to bring DVDs along so they don't miss out we are happy to keep them aside. Photos this evening needless to say from Congleton this morning. Comments are closed.
