It was colder yesterday and my snow about, today there is constant light flecks of snow but little on the ground. There is time yet though for it to change. My arthritis in my shoulder woke me up again and my hoped for lay in never happened, in fact once awake I though I may as well get on with jobs which need doing. I used the opportunity to complete my ministry course assignment and to put labels on the DVD cover files which hadn't been done for a while. I had some card anchors to make for Messy church on Sunday which I've finished and I've booked some of the accommodation for our Madagascar stay in November. I went for the £29 a night option rather than £200 a night even if it is a bit simpler in the room plus it has a verandah and sea view by the beach. I spoke to Mandy and Sue briefly, they are going to Kandy tomorrow for an all day trip out.I've finished editing the DVDs for the last couple of bus outings, I've also booked a train ticket for London next Tuesday, should be light cloud and fairly mild. I need to get moving mid afternoon, actually the cleaners are here so I might have to vacate the office for a few minutes. I'll put a slideshow on from Derby yesterday morning rush hour. It's the RNCM concert with the Paris Conservatoire this evening but I have my dinner at Brodsky's restaurant on site at 5pm, it will be a sell out performance I'd think, or it should be. I've just loaded on Youtube the snow scenes from Doncaster. I'll drop the DVD orders off at the post office on my way to Manchester, I'll have to be careful about what i drink with dinner as their is a champagne reception in the interval for RNCM sponsors. Not sure what I'll do tomorrow morning, sleep would be great, meeting with vicar Jane in the afternoon. Saturday I'm meeting up with Tom in the morning to get a couple of jobs done in St Oswalds. Busy day Sunday services 8am, 11am then Messy church at Over Peover 4pm but then I've my course evening Monday night at Chester but could fit something in during the day if local. Tuesday London then free Wed and Thursday, will have to see what the weather outlook is. I was watching a wren in the garden early this morning plus we have the flock of Reed Buntings still resident, the wind is just picking up now but no snow. Comments are closed.
